It is with great excitement that I write you with some news on my debut novel Concrete Fever, as well as information on a Bookbinding for Beginners Workshop I'll be leading later this month.
A NUMBERS GAME.
I am proud to report that we are about to surpass 100 copies of the book sold in just under three months. Folks have purchased their hand-stitched and painted copies via our online store (http://secondskinbooks.wordpress.com ) as well as at select bookstores in northern Brooklyn.
A WAITING GAME.
Due to an increasing number of back-ordered copies, online orders placed today are estimated to arrive in mid- to late-March. Alternatively, in late-February, a limited number of copies will hit the shelves at Word Bookstore in Greenpoint, as well as at Spoonbill & Sugartown on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. ... is to attend the interactive seminar I'll be leading this month, titled Bookbinding for Beginners Workshop (Word Bookstore, Tuesday February 21 at 6:00 pm - registration:

There, I will teach folks how to craft their own (ultra-sleek) notebooks, which they will then get to take home afterward. A hand-stitched, numbered, & painted copy of Concrete Fever will be included with each person's registration.
