Inspired by the forms and edges in the natural world – biology, geology, topography, and more – Lizzie's work exhibits a delicate balance of color, spills, lines, and geometry, which emphasize process and experimentation. She uses pattern, texture and layering to create a visual dialogue between formal elements. She approaches each artwork with intuition, drawing from various inspirations to carefully sculpt her compositions. Although oil paint is her one true love, she often experiments with many different mediums such as spray paint, acrylics, and table salt.
