"Mild Euphoria refers to the rare state of absolute bliss, where one can feel truly content with a sense of  balance and clarity - while also feeling numb to it, unable to fully access that bliss. In this body of work, I am pursuing that feeling through the physical act of painting. It deals with the mind body connection, what we hold onto in the body, and what happens when it’s released through movement. 

Over this past year, I've developed a process that challenges me to tune into these subtleties, and to linger on them long enough that they can then transfer onto the canvas/paper. This  stream of consciousness painting forces me to follow my gut instinct, to listen more intuitively, and has become a way of documenting the rhythm of the way my mind moves, like an alternative form of meditation.”
